Waste Not... Create!

With this collaborative project, I have challenged people to create art using recycled or reclaimed materials. The starting point was a piece of wool leftover from my work, 'The Weight of the World'. The brief: To make a piece of art around 6" x 6" in size using materials they could find in their homes. In asking people to work sustainably I have challenged them to rethink waste and how they can use it. The resulting art is presented as an explosion of creativity with the ball at the centre representing the starting point of the project.
