Ten days later...

I went back to check on my work ten days after I installed it and though it hasn't rained there has been a lot of mist in the mornings. The leaves have dried up and died making them harder to see as they have camouflaged within the environment, and the mist has deteriorated the soluble threads that I used to install my pieces on all but one of the trees. For the most part, the stitchwork is still intact, and the garlands are still hanging by a literal thread but as soon as it rains these will also melt and the leaves will fall and separate.

Only one of the pieces had fallen from the tree and was lying on the floor beside the tree. I will go back to check again after it rains but I expect that all of the pieces will have fallen and that would be perfect because my art will disappear and that was my original intention.
