WHO AM I?

I was born in Royton Lancashire in the shadow of the cotton mills and grew up in Northern Ireland. I left school in 1990 and went to work the next day, Uni didn't appeal and I hadn't completed the A-Levels that I would need to complete a creative degree.

I began a BA in Creative Arts with OCA during the covid lockdown, and am now working on Level 2 of my degree. Sustainability is important to me and I choose to reuse, repurpose and recycle items in my creative work. When working with new textiles I ensure that they are sustainable/biodegradable. I believe in working with nature and natural resources whenever possible to create art that sits with nature and enhances its surroundings.
